I get quite tired of the few general officers of the thousands, that receive the media attention when they oppose the president's Iraq activities.
Sounding like the DNC or MSM, Lt. Gen Odom said:
"The American effort in Iraq has gone badly because the United States did not understand the consequences of deposing Saddam Hussein, the principal beneficiary of the war was Iran and Al Qaeda, not the United States. There is no way to win a war that is not in your interests."
Blandly says: "There is no way to win a war when you don't understand what your interests are."
When you don't need to invent trouble, there will always be those who will provide trouble. Retired Generals, who have gone as far as their abilities will take them, should be listened to with a jaundiced ear. But that's not the path of the DNC or the MSM.
