Jamaica Guide

Jamaica; “come to Jamaica” is the commercial that always runs through my head when I think of traveling there. It is by far a place I would love to visit one day. Anytime you see pictures of the beaches and their surrounding waters I’m always struck by the absolutely gorgeous blue; it almost doesn’t look real.

Consider that you have the choice of 1,000 plus kilometers of coastline for lazy days on the beaches of Jamaica.

If you tire of relaxing(?) why not give snorkeling a try. According to the Jamaica guide some of the great spots are: Doctor's Cave Beach, Coyoba, Seaworld and Royal Reefs. Go deeper giving some diving a shot at Rock Cliff Reef or Sharks Reef; personally I would take in a guided tour so as not to miss anything local guides would know that you don’t.

Beaches and diving is not all there is to do while in Jamaica; explore the many landmarks that make Jamaica great including the "Great Houses," museums and other cultural attractions in the Kingston, Montego Bay and Ochos Rios areas.

Regardless of what you decide to do during your days in Jamaica it will not be a vacation you will soon forget.

Hey, I just wanted to say that Jamaica is the place to go in my opinion. I've been around the world a few times, and to Jamaica twice (going back a third time next year), and I would rather be there, than almost anywhere in the world. There is a whole lot to do. You didn't mention one of the best things which is to climb Dunn's River Falls. It's about a half mile stretch of waterfalls that you just climb up. Great fun. By the way, Fred Thompson is the man.
