Further assumption is as always necessary when reading news reports on the "immigration" "debate" as between those that disparage "illegal" entry into the country as xenophobic with the "illegal" "immigrant" represented as a member of the "pro-immigrant rights community."
....and they call the Right Orwellian..."illegal immigration reform" is mainly a reformation of meaning.
