"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

CNN - Mass grave discovered in Iraq

http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/meast/12/27/iraq.main/index.html

Fourth paragraph in:

Meanwhile, protests against preliminary election results took the spotlight from daily violence Tuesday in Iraq, where demonstrators gathered in Baquba and Baghdad to say "No" to a government headed by religious Shiites.

Do they mean the media spotlight? Who is directing this spotlight? This is hilarious. It’s as though they’re implying they just go where the truth/story leads them. You know, in an unbiased, non-revenue earning sort of way.

Sorry, nothing about the story subject matter itself to say here.
