"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

CNN.com - Bikers roll to military funerals to oppose anti-gay protests - Feb 21, 2006: "'The most important thing we can do is let families know that the nation cares,' said Don Woodrick, the group's Kentucky captain. 'When a total stranger gets on a motorcycle in the middle of winter and drives 300 miles to hold a flag, that makes a powerful statement.'"

Pretty sad when even a funeral cannot be respected. Maybe some of these bikers could go to Walter Reed and step in front of some Code Pink folks too.
