"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

CNN.com - Poll: Most thinkGOP, Democrats lack vision - Feb 15, 2006: "Sixty-eight percent of people surveyed February 9-12 said Democrats had no clear plan for the country, while 67 percent said Republicans lacked one."

Another poll related article. The above post opening paragraph pretty much says it all. What in the world is the difference between having "no clear plan" and "lacking one?" Is that how one of the questions was posed?

Perhaps if less time was spent by the Democrats in attempting to confuse and blame, people might have a clearer picture. Then the Dems might actually have a clue since they'd be forced to find one. I certainly don't think the Republicans are doing a whole lot better, but at least Bush is doing what he is doing, whether you like it or not.

Forget the conspiracies and all that garbage and just open your eyes.
