"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

CNN.com - Sen. Clinton: Rove obsesses about me - Feb 27, 2006

CNN.com - Sen. Clinton: Rove obsesses about me - Feb 27, 2006: "The former first lady also said she believed Rove, national GOP Chairman Ken Mehlman and other Republicans are using her to divert attention from Republican problems as the 2006 congressional elections approach."

Nice of her to turn it around as though it is being used as a diversion to their problems, although, if that were the case, it says something about her if they think she would be a good diversion.

"Clinton wouldn't say if she would run for president in 2008, saying she is completely focused on her re-election bid this year." She is full of it. The only reason she may not is if she crashes and burns within the next couple of years.
