"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

EFF Sues AT&T for Role in NSA Eavesdropping

Here we go...this is pretty weak if you ask me. This is where things lead when everyone goes of irresposibly and half-cocked. Before anything has been proven illegal or not, we've got lawsuits AT&T being sued for "alledgedly violating the Constitutional rights of Americans by enabling the National Security Agency to spy on citizens without court authorization."

EFF or Electronic Frontier Foundation, is calling this the '"biggest fishing expedition ever devised."'

Well when you're looking for big fish in the ocean you have to start somewhere.

Actions like this add to the fodder of irresposibility. Which pol will latch on to this as proof the law was broken?
