CNN.com - Huffington apologizes for Clooney 'blog' - Mar 22, 2006

I had previously posted regarding the "error," however the intent of the post had nothing to do with what Huffington is apologizing for; it was just a good opening since what I was posting about was Clooney (here).

I still don't care about this, but am confused as to what this means? "Huffington acknowledged on her Web site Saturday that she was "blinded" to the issue of assembling a blog in which the source of the material wasn't clear, as was the case with Clooney."

I don't understand what she means by "blinded." This was also a "major lesson learned" for her.

Doesn't this kind of sound like a "politicians" apology? Again, I'm not too big on caring about this but, it seems to be the same double-standard that she and her "kind" would rant about. Will Maureen Dowd be defending her sometime soon? I hope so.
