"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

CNN.com - Rice shows off her fitness regimen - Mar 2, 2006: "'It just strikes me as, what's the point?' she said. 'Why do I need to see her in Spandex? It has nothing to do with the quality of her mind. And if she were a man, they wouldn't have asked her to do the story.'"

Personally I don't care, but Samantha von Sperling, a New York-based image consultant, who is quoted above seems to. But pooh-pooh to her remark. "If she were a man,"the article mentions the president is often photographed on his bike or running. You can also bet that this is going to set a precedent for the future.

Watch out for Hillary's show.
