CNN.com - Suspect: Church fires were joke that 'got out of hand' - Mar 8, 2006: "One of the suspects said the fires began as a joke that 'got out of hand,' according to court papers filed Wednesday citing what a witness told investigators."
A "joke" that gets out of hand, that involves fire, is a fire that gets out of hand. Obviously this was an inside "joke" and most people don't get inside "jokes."
When did this "joke" get out of hand? Funny, funny, ha, ha, light some paper and put it against a building, jokingly starting it on fire....WHOOSH!!! The fire and joke get out of hand.
According to CNN, "none of the three men have criminal records."
Let's hope they have one now.
