The Right Track Stop the ACLU Blogburst
I often do not spend too much time getting worked up about the ACLU; like when they do something I find offensive (all the time, I just don't always hear about it), I receive a mailing from them to join/donate (don't like ending up on a mailing list like that) or I happen across a posting regarding their latest offense.
The Right Track brought attention to the Courier Press article from March 2, regarding Rep. John Hostettler, R-Ind., calling upon veterans "who belong to the American Legion to fight again, '“to defend our sacred liberties.”'
The ACLU is up to its old game of suing Ten Commandment displays out of existence, this time in Gibson County, IN. It seems according to Hostettler, '"a local strip club owner said he was offended. If he meant it troubled his conscience, the monument is a benefit to the community.”'
Perhaps it was blocking his marquee.
Check the post out, then pay a visit to Stop the ACLU via The Right Tracks post. I'm on my way now.
"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05
