"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Cynthia McKinney charges of police racism is prime example of being racist

CNN.com - Chief: McKinney should have avoided confrontation - Apr 5, 2006

Because the Congresswoman didn't see fit to stop for a Capitol Police Officer doing their job she may be charged with assault.

According to McKinney the stop was racially motivated. Be it as it may, this still does not give her the right to assault another person, let alone a law enforcement officer.

'McKinney maintains racism is behind what she says is a pattern of difficulty getting past security checkpoints on Capitol Hill. She has charged that the altercation was "instigated by the inappropriate touching and stopping of me, a female black congresswoman."'

Mike Raffauf and attorney for McKinney said to Soledad O'brien of CNN, "this is not going to be a place we rehash the facts of this incident." Rather I guess, this is going to be a place for inuendo and unsubstantiated charges of "racism."

Raffauf also said, '"We don't even know the allegations. We don't know what specifically she's accused of."'

Yet another attorney for McKinney, said that the congresswoman was assaulted and that her reaction was appropriate.

So there you have it, plain as day.
