"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Iran acting on Assessment of the West’s Strength and Resolve - Michale Ledeen at NRO

"The Iranians at the highest levels of the regime believe they have good reason for behaving quite feisty, and if you look at the events that have taken place since then, you will see that the mullahs are acting consistently with the analysis presented to (and in part by) Khamenei."

Michael Ledeen of the American Enterprise Institute bullet points strategic review by Iranian top advisors from late November or early December 2005. Unfortunately this rings true and points to the difficulties ahead as a tipping point has already been reached.

My thanks goes out to all those that have done everything in their power to cripple the Bush administration regardless of merits. Government tends to not move too quickly and the Democrats and those on the Left in their ignorance have done more to damage this nation than can be fathomed.

A previous post here, and a multitude to do with Iran at the site.
