"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Tensions Rise as Blast Hits Tel Aviv

"A Palestinian suicide bomber killed nine people and wounded dozens today when he detonated a bag of explosives at a falafel restaurant in a gritty, working-class section of Tel Aviv, further inflaming tensions between Israel and the new Palestinian government led by Hamas."

This type of action goes undenounced by Hamas nor will it ever be. Were Israel to give up every square inch of land that the Palestinians want as theirs; their bloodlust would still not be satisfied.

According to the paper, "Monday's bombing brought a new round of Western criticism directed at Hamas and the Palestinian Authority." However, they only quote the U.S. through Scott McClellan. So I guess we can look like the big mouths.

I'm sure Ahmadinejad in Iran is pleased with this attack.
