"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Immigration is defined as.....

It would seem that today is a day of books of reference. Right Truth, through the comments a reader, which deals with the definition of "immigration." No wonder the msm and "proponents" of "illegal immigration" like to play with the english language....

Cross posted from Right Truth:

The following was left as a comment by reader Dan. I think it deserves to be on the front page and read by all:

Immigrate is defined as:

1. To enter and settle in a country or region to which one is not native. (answers.com)

2. To come into a country of which one is not a native, for the
purpose of permanent residence. (websters)

3. Come into a new country and change residency (worldrefernce.com)

4. A person who leaves one country to settle permanently in another. (thefreedictionary.com)

Read the rest of the post to see why Illegal and Alien should always be used in tandem.
