"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Iran's Right to Peaceful Nukes

According to IRNA:

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said Sunday that no one can ever deprive the Iranian nation from its absolute right to access peaceful nuclear technology.
It's true...he's right..."no one can" or has the right to deny Iran the right to "peaceful nuclear technology." What he and others never say, is whether or not the world has the right to "deny" Iran nuclear weapons.

Oddly after months stalling on a response to the U.N., Iran comes back with no way, no how...yet they are willing to talk.

Interesting that military war games is news of interest to the atomically peaceful republic.

On a seemingly unrelated note Yoni the Blogger posts: "Possible Terror In Turkey," which has claimed the lives of four Israelies (all from the same family)....
