"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Thank Heaven for Little Girls and Hezbollah

Islam's True Enemies Revealed by Lebanon

Secretary-General of the World Assembly for Proximity among Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri said:

"While one month has passed since the assault of the Israeli armed-to-teeth army to Lebanon, the UN Security Council has failed to issue a resolution to end the war due to pressures from the United States and Zionist lobbyist."

This according to the paper was in reference to the latest UN Security Council resolution against Iran's peaceful nuclear program. Which doesn't make alot of sense to me, but not much does over there.

When speaking of the honorable "Islamic resistance by Hezbollah, Secretary-General of the World Assembly for Proximity among Islamic Schools of Thought Ayatollah Mohammad Ali Taskhiri said:

Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah and his forces proved that Muslims' power is stronger than Israeli cutting-edge weapons.

I'm guessing "peaceful" nukes fit somewhere in with the following statement:

Recent developments also indicate that the Islamic Ummah can stand against the world arrogant powers only in light of solidarity and unity.

Syrian international relations analyst, Samir Al-Taghi said what to me can only be described as contradictory:

1.) Israel will intensify the war against Lebanon if the (UN) draft resolution is ratified.

2.) The US is seeking to end military operations in Lebanon because Israel is unable to defeat Hezbollah.

It is likely not a contradiction to him and others in the region since they can have it both ways if they want and they usually do.
