"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Ahmadinejad advises bullying powers to stop

I haven't visited IRNA in a while. But one of the things that can be confusing at times is the English translation.

Today, IRNA has what I would say is the first honest thing out of Ahmadinejad's mouth. Unfortunately, it is only honest because of poor translation. I'll just quote that and then let's leave it at that.

From IRNA:

"President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on Thursday advised world bullying powers to stop misbehaving Iranians."

I couldn't agree more; we should stop the "misbehaving Iranians."
