"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Still Having Fun Trying to get Haloscan working

Boy oh boy. Do I dislike aggravation and that is exactly what I've been going through since upgrading to beta blogger. No diss to blogspot, as the service is free so I can't bitch.

As of about an hour ago, I said the h-e-double hockey sticks with it and got to work on this site's header.

If you care to, give a comment on the one that is up right now. I like it, but it doesn't strike me as too legible.

Thanks in advance and I hope to be back one day.
