"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

U.S. Economy Grows at Slowest Pace in Three Years

"The American economy grew at its slowest pace in three years in the fourth quarter." Were the past three years good? From what you hear or read from the MSM the economy has been horrible, so this must be truly dire. There should be more concern in this article then, no?

Some doom and gloom on the economy that actually allowed the author to cite reality. Add this to all the negative economic propaganda of the last few years and finally they can write with out stretching the truth too much.
