"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

CNN.com - Report: Iran restarts uranium work - Feb 13, 2006

Right on schedule. Why open yourself up to agreements with the IAEA if you intend to develope anyway? Well, for one you can rest easy in the confidence that any program to ultimately control nuclear activity can be manipulated with impunity.

As noted previously that Iranian leaders are bullies. Upon the IAEA report to the U.N. Security Council, "Iran retaliated for the board's decision by halting snap inspections by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), a key to assessing whether Iran's nuclear program is wholly peaceful or not, and vowing to resume uranium-enrichment."

But according to "Greenpeace nuclear analyst William Peden said Iranian efforts to purify uranium at this point would involve only testing of a few centrifuges, a long way away from producing fuel for atomic warheads." So I guess we can still rest easy, as it's all under control. Thanks Bill
