"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Hugh Hewitt - Looking Forward To '08

Hugh Hewitt posted a link to a Washington Post piece by Ruth Marcus. Mr. Hewitt points out to the drub (would be interesting to hear this interview), that primary voters are GOP'ers, but she probably doesn't get it.

A more interesting read would be regarding the Dems and their mad scramble to bend the prism of the continuing expansion of their alternate universe (long winded, but when am I not?).

I hope they washed their hands after sitting on them so much/long last night.
