"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Dalton man in LEGAL immigration limbo

Joining the ranks of immigrants who entered illegally to gain citizenship is without honor - Miloslav Dunka
This is the story of a man that came to this country legally and was screwed over by the system faulty bureaucracy, yet he still stands by the legal steps to gaining citizenship. This man has been through the shredder and still stands by entering the country legally. Most poster children would take this as justification for entering illegally. This country could use more legal immigrants like Miloslav Dunka.

According to the Chattanooga Times Free Press:
Miloslav Dunka says he has faced a bureaucratic nightmare since he emigrated to the United States from the Czech Republic, jumping over hurdles and through hoops to file the proper paperwork and become a legal citizen.
Mr. Dunka is quick to point out that he doesn’t think all illegal immigrants are bad people, and he said he thinks there is a place for illegal immigration, such as when he fled communist rule nine months before the Iron Curtain fell.
