"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Iran Peaceful Nukes Under Supervision of IAEA

Today the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) tells us:

Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid-Reza Asefi here Tuesday again stressed that Iran's nuclear activities were being conducted under International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)
supervision.
This is part and parcel of the Iranian scheme in "negotiating" with the international community. If they are conducting their "peaceful" nuclear activity under supervision, why have discussions been going on for years? Iran has been hiding things; then not hiding things. Once enough time has passed they won't have any need to hide anything.

A couple of previous posts illustrate the absurdity of this game; here and here.
