"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Two Weeks Off for Baby

This is just a heads up to my reader that I will likely be offline for the next two weeks as the son my wife and I are expecting is scheduled for inducement. Our daughter is looking very forward to the baby, although she doesn't realize what that will actually mean in her world. Wish us luck.

I may at some point find a moment to post here and there, but this is unlikely.

See you all soon
