"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

DeMediacratic Nation: Two Weeks Off for Baby#links

DeMediacratic Nation: Two Weeks Off for Baby#links

Well, the boy is here and took his time about it. 8pm Sunday to 2:52am Tuesday. Mind you, it was not labor the entire time, but a long time nonetheless. Mother and son are doing great, though not home yet. We're looking at a 6 lbs 7 oz boy.

My friend Darrell, at Morning Coffee and who fights the daily battle valiantly, asks if a cigar can be sent electronically. To him I say, yes...cheap SOB that I am, I have found that, YES cigars can be sent electronically.

So have my favorite and a gander at my son.
