"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

Regarding the Plame/Wilson Civil Suit

Old news already, but I'm not so much commenting on the whole Armitage revelation as I am the relationship between Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington and the Plame/Wilsons.

As the msm fully realizes, they went to town on the administration with its oh, so chilling effort in payback to Wilson for telling like it was/is. The msm also fully realizes it didn't make too much of any news of Wilson being caught in various lies; perhaps this was a bit like "Rathergate" in that facts were not to be let in the way.

The Plame/Wilsons are the anti-thesis of a responsible and ethical citizenry.
