"How did it come to pass that an opposition's measure of a president's foreign policy was all or nothing, success or "failure"? The answer is that the political absolutism now normal in Washington arrived at the moment--Nov. 7, 2000--that our politics subordinated even a war against terror to seizing the office of the presidency." - Daniel Henninger - WSJ 11/18/05

From CNN:
"Elizabeth K. Mohl, 16, of Neenah, was killed Saturday after falling 40 to 50 feet from a ride called Air Glory."
Rise Christians, flood the streets, riot, burn and destroy shop windows!!!!!
Is this story or its headline implying that "Christian" rides are less safe than Jewish or Islamic rides? Who are they to judge our rides?
Prayers and thoughts to the family of the child killed, but of what news value lies in the headline that it needs to include the fact that it was a "Christian" ride? Isn't this odd? Don't get me wrong, I'm not so much offended as I am intrigued or curious.
