Is this any way to treat a woman?

Here's an interesting post/factoid from a member of the Hillbilly Ecosystem, Alpaca Burger Forum regarding honor killings.

Girls and Women Murdered by their Fathers in “Honor Killings”

Something else that caught my eye was one of the comments written by Rada Sava:

I understand the Talmud is full of horrors, more revolting than the bit you put up about the alleged wife beating urging by the Quran.

Alpaca did quote from the Quran, however reference to the Talmud is no comparison if the practice as described in the book is not acted on. The sad fact is that "honor killings" do take place today and this individual believes there is no difference between the words in a book and the actions of a person.

It's amazing that a member of a tribe with such abhorrent voodoo practices has the chutzpah to cast stones on other religions.

Above, the commenter sees this as "casting stones." The commenter is referencing perhaps from actions of individuals in a different time as though nothing has changed throughout the centuries. Yet the world the commenter comes from is physically in the 21st century, though the mindset is not.

This is really disturbing.
